Sweden is a beautiful country with charming cities and stunning scenery. It is not a cheap country to visit, especially for accommodation and entertainment, but the country’s infrastructure is well organized, the attractions are impressive, the nature is breathtaking and the food is superb.
Stockholm, the nation’s capital, is a small city spread over 14 islands. Gamla Stan, the old town, is a delightful part of Stockholm with its cobbled streets. Don’t miss Kungliga Slottet, the huge royal castle with more than 600 rooms. The Djurgarden has beautiful parklands and many fine museums, especially the fascinating open-air museum of Skansen.
Malmo is a small historic town in southern Sweden. The old city has many canals and bridges and is one of Sweden’s top places to visit. You should also visit Vadstena with its stunning castle Vadstena Slott that overlooks the lake and the harbor and Gothenburg for its excellent museums and lively nightlife.
